The Police Guard is one of the four main pillars of the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and operates across the entire territory of the Republic.

The main functions of the Police Guard
- Maintenance of public order and ensuring public safety
- Protection of facilities of critical importance subject to state protection, as well as ensuring the security of special cargo transportation
- Participation in ensuring the legal regime of martial law and the state of emergency, as well as in protecting the population in emergency situations
- Assistance in ensuring the security of persons under special state protection
- Assistance to bodies conducting criminal proceedings
The tasks and functions of the Police Guard are aimed at protecting facilities of state and public importance, ensuring public order, and maintaining security. The Guard carries out special protection, escort, and operational support duties, assisting other police units in ensuring security.
